Resiliencia de la Cadena de Suministro y su Relación y Desempeño Operativo en Empresas Manufactureras
Supply Chain Resilience and its Relationship to Operational Performance in Manufacturing CompaniesContenido principal del artículo
El objetivo del estudio fue identificar las capacidades de resiliencia de la cadena de suministro – colaboración, flexibilidad, visibilidad, análisis de datos y conectividad – que explican la resiliencia, la gestión del riesgo y el desempeño operativo en empresas manufactureras mediante un diseño de investigación cuantitativo y transversal, basado en una muestra intencionada de 129 empresas manufactureras mexicanas, en el que los datos se analizaron mediante análisis de regresión lineal múltiple. Las variables se midieron con 50 reactivos tipo Likert. Se encontró que el desempeño es explicado por la flexibilidad;
mientras que la resiliencia es explicada por las capacidades de colaboración flexibilidad y análisis de datos; y la gestión del riesgo por las capacidades de flexibilidad, visibilidad y la de análisis de datos. Se concluyó que la flexibilidad constituye un eje estratégico para sostener el desempeño operativo y que la resiliencia se construye mediante una combinación de competencias gestionadas de manera integral.
The objective of this study was to identify the supply chain resilience capabilities -collaboration, flexibility, visibility, data analytics, and connectivity - that explain resilience, risk management, and operational performance in manufacturing companies. A quantitative, cross-sectional research design was used, based on a purposive sample of 129 Mexican manufacturing companies. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Variables were measured with 50
Likert-type items. The study found that performance is explained by flexibility; resilience is explained by collaboration, flexibility, and data analytics capabilities; and risk management by flexibility, visibility, and data analytics capabilities. It was concluded that flexibility is a strategic pillar for sustaining operational performance and that resilience is built through a combination of competencies managed holistically.
