El liderazgo constituye una habilidad esencial en las organizaciones contemporáneas, permitiendo generar estrategias innovadoras y facilitar la toma de decisiones. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la importancia del liderazgo como factor determinante en la innovación organizacional. El estudio se desarrolló durante el periodo 2015-2024, utilizando una revisión narrativa y analítica con diseño documental. Se consultaron cuatro bases de datos académicas (Google Scholar, Redalyc, SciELO y Dialnet) mediante operadores booleanos (AND, OR), identificándose 45 documentos seleccionados tras aplicar criterios de inclusión. Los términos de búsqueda incluyeron: «liderazgo transformacional», «innovación organizacional» y «estilo de liderazgo». Los resultados evidencian que el liderazgo transformacional constituye el estilo más efectivo para impulsar la innovación organizacional, facilitando la toma de decisiones, el trabajo en equipo y culturas colaborativas. Las conclusiones subrayan la necesidad de que las organizaciones inviertan en el desarrollo de líderes capaces de inspirar y gestionar el cambio.
Leadership is an essential skill in contemporary organizations, enabling the development of innovative strategies and facilitating decision-making. This research aims to analyze the importance of leadership as a determining factor in organizational innovation. The study was conducted between 2015 and 2024, using a narrative and analytical review with a documentary design. Four academic databases (Google Scholar, Redalyc, SciELO, and Dialnet) were searched using Boolean operators (AND, OR), identifying 45 documents selected after applying inclusion criteria. The search terms included: "transformational leadership,""organizational innovation," and "leadership style." The results show that transformational leadership is the most effective style for driving organizational innovation, facilitating decision-making, teamwork, and collaborative cultures. The conclusions underscore the need for organizations to invest in developing leaders capable of inspiring and managing change.
